Dr. Jenny

“Dr. Jenny is as good as it gets! After suffering from severe chronic food and environment allergies, after just two treatments I was more than 50% better. I just wish I would have found her years ago! She is worth much more than she charges. She is a great investment for anyone’s health. She changed my life.”

Dr. Abercrombie, our founder, is a California Licensed Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. While she maintains a general practice with focuses in women’s health, fertility, auto-immune disease, and thyroid dysfunction, her real passion is to help mothers find their mama mojo.

As a mom of two kids, she’s been there. Her journey of climbing out of the postpartum hole showed the gaping hole in medicine for postpartum care, especially from a functional perspective. The silver lining to this journey is that this is a chance you have to reclaim your vitality. Motherhood is different for everyone, but there is a core foundation for your body, mind, and soul. When that foundation is strong, you reclaim your vitality and find your strength. Dr. Jenny helps moms navigate the journey of how to re-balance and re-new. She focus on therapeutics that nature and heal the body, to assist in restoring strength and physiological balance. A stronger you makes a stronger mother, partner, and role model.

Nourish – Renew – Honor Self

Dr. Jenny understands illness as a disruption of physiology and normal function of the body.  She strives to identify and remove barriers to healing while supporting the innate ability of the body to heal; empowering her patients with their personal health. She is devoted to helping you achieve and maintain health through a comprehensive approach that integrates the best of modern medical science with naturopathic medical philosophy and treatment.

She received her doctorate from the oldest Naturopathic Medical School, the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.  She completed a year gynecology specialized internship with Dr. Kimberly Windstar-Hamlin, ND, which emphasized women’s health concerns, cervical dysplasia, as well as infertility, thyroid disorders, and autoimmune diseases.  She was inspired to pursue Naturopathic medicine due to the founding philosophies of the profession to provide health care that actively creates health from within the body.

She graduated magna cum laude from Wheaton College in Massachusetts with a B.A.  After graduation, she had the privilege of studying Maori medicine with a group of Tohungas (native medical healers) in New Zealand.  The experience opened her eyes to another medical approach that was vastly different than what she was accustomed to experiencing as health care within the U.S.  She has taken these teaching and has incorporated them into the knowledge that she has gained as a naturopathic medical doctor to approach patient health care from multiple angles.

Dr. Abercrombie is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the California Naturopathic Doctors Association.

Outside the office she is busy playing with her family, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors.
