Swedish Massage/Bodywork: PEDIATRIC MASSAGE – Soothing gentle massage stimulating digestion, boost immunity, and prepares the body for deeper more restful sleep. A great way to bond with your baby/child and enhance communication through touch. SWEDISH MASSAGE – As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But Swedish massage therapy goes beyond relaxation. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension. REFLEXOLOGY  ~  30 minute Therapeutic modality for those suffering from plantar fasciitis, ankle injuries or even everyday work and play. Applying traditional Swedish techniques to the foot, calf and upper leg. This will not only help relieve toe pain, ankle pain, plantar fasciitis and common forms of arthritis, but can also decrease stress and anxiety in the entire body. In addition, a variety of stretches can be beneficial. ACUPRESSURE & CHU – 30 minute Soothing Swedish style massage with various reflex pathways within the ears, hands, and feet being stimulated by acupressure to redirect the blood flow  to specific areas of the body’s internal systems. LYMPHATIC RELEASE/PALPATION ~  45 minute Gentle Swedish style massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.

Circulatory Modalities ABDOMINAL/FERTILITY/MAYAN MASSAGE ~ External non-invasive manipulation that repositions internal organs that have shifted, thereby restricting the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and chi. During the Follicular phase of a woman cycle this treatment is very beneficial. PRE AND POSTNATAL MASSAGE  Soothing massage designed for the needs of expectant and new mothers. Special positioning and cushions are used to ensure your maximum comfort. (Prenatal massage only performed after first trimester.) Healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling). In addition, massage for pregnant women reduces stress on weight-bearing joints, encourages blood and lymphatic circulation, helps to relax nervous tension — which aids in better sleep — and can help relieve depression or anxiety caused by hormonal changes. DEEP TISSUE/THAI ~ Firm yet sophisticated sequence of deep rhythmic acupressure to muscles and Sen (energy) lines during assisted stretches and yoga-like postures, this integrated approach stimulates the body’s natural healing ability by unblocking the flow, resulting in an enlivened calm with the recipient. A foundational concept is about the movement of the life force through the body. SENSORY REPATTERNING – 45  minutes  Soothing massage that invites kinesthetic sense; The word kinesthetic comes from the Greek word kinein (to move) and aisthesis (sensation). which is recognizing motion in our own body, feeding the body with kinesthetic stimuli that go beyond the client’s habitual patterns and opens them to their forgotten potential. Ideal for fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, acute situations, PTSD, tactile sensitivity and elderly.

CRANIAL SACRAL – A gentle, noninvasive form of bodywork that addresses the bones of the head, spinal column and sacrum.
